Later Deep South Petroleum became a Shell lubricants distributor and with the merger of Chevron and Texaco did away with the Texaco brand and became exclusively Shell.
In April of 2004 Deep South Petroleum, Inc. and Macro Oil, Inc. of Lafayette, Louisiana merged portions of there businesses together to form United Fuels and Lubricants, LLC. This merger was 50/50 between the two companies.
Deep South Petroleum, Inc. in February of 2006 started a Vacuum truck service in Louisiana, serving production and drilling companies with vacuum trucks and frak tanks. This company was started when a need for service was seen in the industry. The larger companies did not want to take time to service small accounts and these customers were suffering.Deep South Vacuum Service specializes in the cleaning of sumps and removing and disposing of storm water run off. All of the fluids Deep South Picks up is disposed of in accordance with DEQ and EPA.
Deep South Petroleum, Inc. once again saw a need for service in the area of environmental solutions for customers and in July of 2008 in conjunction with Country Boy Construction, LLC started Country Boy Environmental. Country Boy Environmental specializes in clean up of contamination released into the environment .
